2. About Mana Ooru

Mana Ooru is a local business discovery and directory platform. It helps users find shops, restaurants, hotels, service providers and other businesses, and allows eligible business owners or representatives to submit information for potential publication. Mana Ooru provides directory information and is not a party to transactions between users and listed businesses.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law to create an account, submit or manage a business listing, or use features that require acceptance of these Terms. If you create or manage a listing on behalf of a company, organization or business, you confirm that you are authorized to act for that entity and accept these Terms on its behalf.

4. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate, complete and current account information.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and must not share access with unauthorized persons.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account and should notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Business Listings

• Submit accurate, complete and non-misleading business information.
• Submit a listing only when you own the business or are authorized to act for it.
• Keep addresses, contact details, services and other listing information reasonably current.
• Upload only images, logos, text and other content that you own or have permission to use.
• Do not promote illegal, fraudulent, unsafe or misleading goods or services.

We may review, reject, edit, suspend or remove a listing that is inaccurate, unverifiable, unlawful, outdated or inconsistent with these Terms. Publication or approval of a listing does not constitute endorsement or verification of every claim made by the business.

6. Prohibited Activities

• Fraud, impersonation, fake listings or deceptive conduct.
• Spam, unsolicited promotions or abusive communications.
• Harassment, threats or content that targets or harms others.
• Illegal, defamatory, obscene or otherwise prohibited content.
• Copyright, trademark or other intellectual-property infringement.
• Malware, harmful code, hacking, unauthorized access or interference with the platform.
• Automated scraping, data extraction or high-volume access where prohibited by law, these Terms or our technical controls.

7. Intellectual Property

The Mana Ooru website design, branding, software, logos and other platform materials are owned by Mana Ooru or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to users.

Business owners retain ownership of the text, images, logos and other content they submit. By submitting content, you grant Mana Ooru a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format and publicly display that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote and improve the directory. You may request removal of your content, subject to reasonable processing time and applicable record-retention obligations.

8. Directory Disclaimer

Mana Ooru is a directory platform. Listings and related information are provided for general discovery purposes and may be submitted by third parties. To the extent permitted by law, the platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, availability, quality, safety, legality or suitability of any listing, business, product or service. Users should independently verify important information before making decisions or transactions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mana Ooru is not responsible for transactions, payments, quotations, agreements, communications, disputes, losses or services involving users and listed businesses. Mana Ooru does not control how an independent business performs its services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict or terminate access to an account or remove a listing when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, information is false or unlawful, activity threatens platform security, or action is required by law. Where appropriate, users may contact us to seek clarification or correction. Users may stop using the platform at any time.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of India. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the use of Mana Ooru will be handled by the courts or other competent authorities having jurisdiction under applicable Indian law.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to the platform, our practices or legal requirements. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of Mana Ooru after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those Terms.
